As a grump, I have a few complaints. Can you please write "C and C++"
instead of "C/C++"? Although C++ is supposedly a superset of C, that's
mostly marketing, and good C++ doesn't look very much like good C code
at all, they really are different languages, with different habits. As
someone who was raised on C++ but not C, the difference is very
striking to me, and saying "C/C++" makes it sound like they're a
single language or more closely related than they actually are.

My other grumpy complaint is how you portray "commercial". Octave
isn't necessarily uncommercial, and in fact, I think it could benefit
a lot if we could commercialise it. Octave could also wear a suit and
tie once in a while; we're not always unkempt smelly hippies. ;-) I
think it would be better if you were just explicit and say "high
compatibility with Matlab" instead of being euphemistic. The Octave
homepage doesn't shy away from saying Matlab's name. I don't know what
a proper icon would be, since perhaps there's a trademark problem if
you use the Matlab logo.

But that's just me. It's good work, and I think I speak for many of us
when I say that I'm quite happy with the graphical design work you're
doing for Octave.

Btw, wanna get back on Agora? ;-)
