Hi all,

thanks for the congratulations :) I'm glad I made it, and really hope that I can find some time already before the summer holidays -- at least to do some little stuff and work out plans for how the profiler should work, be accessed and the like!

Daniel, I look forward to working with you. You can usually find me in
the #octave channel in Freenode if you need to chat and I'm usually
prompt about responding to email. I've contacted Jaroslav again to see
if he can help us with problems, and I hope he can at least work in an
occasional consultative capacity. To other Octave developers, I hope
you can also be welcoming and offer ocasional advice when Daniel and I
face difficulties.

Thanks, I'll add this channel; the last months I were not idling a lot on IRC, but maybe this will change and it's good to know where I can find you. Regarding general discussion, my plan is to post to the list so others can be involved as well -- I hope that this is what all of you will agree to.

BTW, did you find time to look at my column-number patch? Do you have suggestions for what I could/should do in http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?32053?

Yours,
Daniel
