GUI problems

Hi,

I just built the latest development source to try the GUI, but sometimes
octave is slow or doesn't even respond at all when I type. Usually this
happens when I click on other windows and then I return to octave. 
Also, if I load a file from octave editor, it takes a lot of time to show
the file manager and at the command window appears the following:

KGlobal::locale::Warning your global KLocale is being recreated with a valid
main component instead of a fake component, this usually means you tried to
calli18n related functions before your main component was created. You
should not do that since it most likely will not work
QProcess: Destroyed while process is still running.
kfilemodule(21172) KSambaSharePrivate::testparmParamValue: We got some
errors whilerunning testparm "Load smb config files from /etc/samba/smb.conf
Error loading services.

I'm using Kubuntu 12.04 3.2.0-29-generic.

Can I suggest the the cursor appears at the bottom of the command window
when you reach it typing? It's difficult to make changes at the command
window without the cursor there.
