Jordi,

Is there a vector version of "octave-header.png"? ... perhaps an m-file that 
creates it?

I'm asking because using this theme with pslatex results in very slow 
rendering.  However, if the header can be represented by a bitmap free 
eps-file, then things can be arranged so that the rendering is fast.
