Roberto,

In addition to the repository you should also set up a blog to describe the 
progress of your project,
then ask Jordi to link it to Planet Octave [1].

I'd like you to write an update at least weekly describing the progress in your 
work and what you plan
to do next.

In general you should not go into stand-by  and wait for feedback after each 
commit or enquiry, 
but proceed with the work according with the plan if not instructed differently 
by your mentors.
