Dear Octave maintainer team,

good afternoon.

I have just installed octave-atlas 3.6.4 on my mac 10.8.5 using fink
(installed for the first time). The installation took several hours, but it
went fine and I menages to run some mathemathical operations successfully.

When I try to install "econometric package" (the one I need for my
homeworks), the software tries to install some dependent packages, and
apparently I have some troubles in installing octave364-dev.

May you be so kind to give me some advices? I put below the error code I
get.

Thanks in advance for your support and have a nice day

sfarro

This looks like a problem with the Fink package management. I recommend you
post your question to the Fink beginners/users list.

        http://fink.thetis.ig42.org/lists/fink-beginners.php

        http://fink.thetis.ig42.org/lists/fink-users.php

I've cc'd Alexander of the Fink team who supports Octave. Perhaps he'll
respond here.

Ben

This particular issue was corrected in octave-3.6.4-8. "fink selfupdate" should make that version available for you.
