Recommendations about what language register to use do not spread well
to other languages, so it's best to leave the speakers of each
language decide what to do.

I know, for example, that it's more common to use the formal "vous" in
French software but the informal "tú" in Spanish software. I
understand that in Swedish, the formal form of address is almost
extinct and used almost exclusively for royalty, somewhat similar to
saying "your majesty" in English.[1]

So leave the page in German, if you find it easier to communicate
translation affairs in German that should only interest other Germans.
