I can compile octave 4.1.0+ with gcc 6.1.1
(Fedora 24)

Thanks for the heads up!

Unfortunately, I cannot compile on Fedora 24 with tip (f0303b64e59a). I also tried (4b2eab5d2a6a) as mentioned above and got the same error:

  CXXLD src/octave-cli
  CXXLD libgui/liboctgui.la
/mnt/files/export/src/octave.hg/liboctave/.libs/liboctave.so: undefined reference to `areadlink'
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
Makefile:14535: recipe for target 'src/octave-cli' failed

Any suggestions?

Colin
