Follow-up Comment #24, patch #7990 (project octave): _octave_link_enabled_ is good. That's really what is being tested. Yeah, I don't know about the NR/NC. I tried to match the Java equivalent behavior. I would be fine with making this pixels. (In fact, that seems to make more sense given that there is some parameter in one of these dialogs has a size specification in pixels.) But the NR/NC seem to be something on the order of character heights and widths. In that case, fractional specifications seem more worthwhile than whole jumps from, say, 1 character height to 2 character heights. I'm alright with any changes to this dialog stuff.
