Follow-up Comment #3, patch #8602 (project octave):
It needs an upgrade for 2 reasons:
- ismatrix() change - now also isnumeric() is required in input validation
tests (already done)
- linear-algebra has 2 functions using inputParser that turned out to be
broken ever since inputParser was ansorbed in core, and since the general
package was upgraded (i.e., > 2 years).
AFAIU Juanpi is busy fixing those 2 functions.
