Follow-up Comment #19, patch #8951 (project octave): Sorry Markus for such sparse answers. Counting parent axes light objects: did you try the attached approach (overloading base::properties::adopt/remove_child for axes object should be enough). Algorithm for normals computation: you seam to have tested the accuracy of the face normals more then ever I will so let's adopt your approach :-). Did you solve the reverse sign as compared to ML normals?
