Follow-up Comment #3, patch #10021 (project octave):

Maybe geodeticfwd.m could be more intimately linked to reckon.m? that is, it
does for an ellipsoid what reckonm does for a spheroid.

I'll check if geodeticfwd.m is more accurate - I think we've discussed in the
patches for scxsc.m that reckon.m as it stands could/should be more accurate.
