+##Evaluation
+
+Objectives were:
+
+Objectives met:
+
+Goals met:
+
+On schedule? (according to timeline)
+
+Further action? Or tie off / drop
+
+Lessons learned / Action to implement lesson
+
+## Launched
+
+* Site
+* Emails
+
+## Draft
+
+Campaign workflow:
+
+1. Pick target, action (when possible, action should involve email signup e.g.
letter writing or petition... also, this is more friendly than playogg)
+1. Prepare page on playogg (playogg.org/campaignname) according to template to
explain action.
+1. Prepare email according to template
+1. Launch post, email.
+1. Prepare follow up email according to template
+1. Prepare report on results (objectives achieved, emails added) and enter in
this page.
+
+Templates:
+
+* Write page template (adapt from existing e.g. kindle84 or previous)
+* Write email template (adapt from existing)
+* Write follow up email template
+
+Targets:
+
+* Large sites that should support Ogg (Youtube and 2nd tier audio / video
sites)
+* Emusic, Amazon, other DRM-free music stores.
+* Smaller sites (individual video projects, popular mp3 blogs or podcasts)
+* Linux podcasts or video programming
+* Miro and other podcast directories. Get Miro to make a special section for
Ogg programming.
+* Badge campaign: adopt a badge, and get sites using it.
+
+## Proposal
+
+Goals:
+
+People on the Defectivebydesign list engage in a twice-per-month action
against DRM that grows the list.
+
+Objectives:
+
+* One action happens every two weeks (e.g. requesting HTML5/ogg support on a
site)
+* Each action receives some press / blog coverage.
+* Users share the action with others, attracting more people to the list (at
least 200 per action)
+* Each action achieves its specific objectives (e.g. covering an item in
"DefectiveByDesign" tags or knocking it down a full star rating).
+* If we think a certain target is particularly good, consider a follow up
action.
+* Action process is documented well enough that an intern could do it
sometimes.
+* After actions are underway, make some basic improvements (design, layout,
message) to playogg.org
+
+Steps to start:
+
+* Write campaign workflow
+* Create playogg-activist mailman list (we keep the discussion list for
discussion of campaigns) that is moderated.
+* Get add-to-mailman "petition" script code to use on playogg
+* Get a similar script that adds person to list when they send an email using
a form (lets you show them a dropdown or checkboxes that determine who to write
to)
+* Design simple campaign page template
+* Write text for page template
+* Document how to post pages, images to playogg, or refer to existing.
+* Write email template
+* Write follow up email template
+* Test out by launching first campaign
+* Evaluate
+
+Timeline:
+
+* Launch first action within 2 weeks of approval.
+* Evaluate project after 1st and 2nd action, then once every two months
+
+Note: some of this stuff requires that we build new pages and tools on
playogg.org to do basic online campaigning. These will be useful on other
pages too (like university textbook DRM pages). The time on this might be
somewhat unpredictable.
