So I download these binaries where each consists of 1065 parts.
You see where this is going right? =)
On the attempt to decode, pan(or gmime) chokes on trying to open all of the
files simultanously because the per app limit is usually 1024 file handles.
I have no ulimit on this account, and my global filehandles max is high
enough, but I'm guessing the per-application limit is hard-coded in the
kernel.
Is there any reason why pan (or whatever library) needs to have all of the
parts open at the same time?
