Can only talk about SuSE 8.0
i had no problems following the chain of requirements displayed
when running ./configure (either the dependency was not installed
at all or outdated)
- downloading the required package
- ./configure this package
- etc.
then configuring, compiling and installing these five packages
in reverse order.
