Yes. I tried your Pan RPM only with your gtkspell RPM.
(But I've kept your gtkspell after reinstalling John's Pan RPM.)

Except for gtkspell, I believe they all came with Mandrake 8.2
(judging from the dates).
Although I have some Norwegian dictionaries, I installed
Mandrake with British English as the default language.
I have no *spell*-devel packages installed.
