The early 0.14.0.9x betas, previous to .94, had some focus problems related to 
the find boxes that were quite irritating.  Here, they prevented hotkeys from 
working normally until I toggled tabbed view on and off.  Your bug looks 
different, but could be related, and could have been fixed (or worsened) by 
the fix for mine in .94.  Thus, I'd recommend trying the latest.  (.95 should 
be out pretty quick, as they were sort of waiting on a patch result from me 
and I just turned that in.  So, probably b4 the weekend..)

If it's still there, file a bugzilla report, but it'll probably be post 0.14.1 
that it gets fixed, since there wasn't even supposed to be a .95 beta, but 
they changed way to much and decided they'd better.
