Ok...I got past my configure problem by using the cvs version and using autogen.sh...using the tar.gz is not an option and should probably not be mentioned in the howto..configure worked fine...however in make I'm getting this error: liconv -LC:/msys/1.0/opt/gnet2/lib -LC:/msys/1.0/opt/gtk/lib -lgnet-2.0 -lgthread-2.0 -lglib-2.0 -lintl -liconv -lws2_32 Info: resolving _xmlFree by linking to __imp__xmlFree (auto-import) fu000006.o(.idata$3+0xc): undefined reference to `libxml2_dll_a_iname' fu000007.o(.idata$3+0xc): undefined reference to `libxml2_dll_a_iname' fu000008.o(.idata$3+0xc): undefined reference to `libxml2_dll_a_iname' fu000009.o(.idata$3+0xc): undefined reference to `libxml2_dll_a_iname' fu000010.o(.idata$3+0xc): undefined reference to `libxml2_dll_a_iname' fu000011.o(.idata$3+0xc): more undefined references to `libxml2_dll_a_iname' follow nmth000005.o(.idata$4+0x0): undefined reference to `_nm__xmlFree' make[3]: *** [pan.exe] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory `/home/workarea/pan/pan' make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 ---- If I can resolve this I'll have a working copy of the latest pan compiled for windows and will be happy to distribute it/support it. I can also archive up the development directories to make it easier for others in future. Any ideas? Rudi
