Yes, assuming that they were posted correctly.

One setting that hasn't been mentioned and is helpful is the "Show
complete multipart posts as a single article" option on the "Header Pane"
tab in Preferences.

I believe it's on by default. As long as it's on, you'll see complete
binaries as a single post, which you can identify by a Green Puzzle Piece
icon next to them.

(Note that this only helps individual files appear as single posts: If you
are looking at huge files, like ISOs or large movies, the poster will
often split the compressed file into smaller files before posting
(something like .r01, .r02, etc.). Each of these smaller files will appear
as it's own Post in Pan's header pane.)
