[Pan-users] x-face problem

I use the x-face converter (http://www.dairiki.org/xface/xface.php) and paste 
the text into the "Extra headers" space but when I post an article to a 
newsgroup the x-face is scrambled and when I go back to the "Extra headers" in 
"Edit posting profile" the original text is changed.

What am I doing wrong?
