It's one right place, but this group has been oddly quiet, and I
think it's partly because reaching this list through gmane.org

I think he would suggest filing a bug report (i.e. a feature request)
at http://bugzilla.gnome.org/browse.cgi?product=Pan

You do need to create an account there before you can actually file
a report, but it's easy to do.
