I have Linux, distribution Fedora Core 6, though I have
made some changes, e.g., gtk 2.12.0. I don't know what
pan cpu usage is -- sorry. I'll try to remember to gather
some statistics when I get frozen again. I just tried it,
but couldn't get pan to freeze. At any rate, it's not an
Ubuntu problem, because I don't have Ubuntu.
