Well it does, but only if you tell it to using the save-draft feature.
I've had some nice involved posts vanish on me too, tho. If it's getting
too long, I try to remember to save-draft before continuing, just in
case, and then sometimes before sending too, since pan doesn't save sent
messages either, in case it doesn't show up on-group.
But I'm about to go out now, so more later...
