Okay, I mis-explained, and am not going to get used to Gmane's 'user at
host rewrites.' Again, above, it was at sdf.org & news.sdf.org (not
gmane.org,) and that happened once, but it's also 'Permission denied,
please try again.'
Jim's method did work for some other case I tried; thanks.
I guess SDF needs to write instructions how to access news.sdf.org with
SSH tunnel. Likely it's just different than anyone here may know unless
they also use freeshell.org (sdf.org, etc.)
