R: [Paparazzi-devel] YAW

Thanks,...just another question...
In Paparazzi I haven't to set any information about the aircraft (total
weight, fuel weight...., the aircraft model), neither about the atmosphere
model (static pressure, air density,...), nor about the aerodynamic and
propelling coefficient, the propelling force. Isn't it?
So Paparazzi can work with almost every type of aircraft (of any weight and
size...) it right?

Hi Marco,

there is no YAW "command" computed from the AP. However, you can have an
action on the rudder from the ROLL "command" through a "combi-switch"
configuration. For example in minimag1.xml:

    <set servo="RUDDER" value="@YAW + @ROLL*COMBI_SWITCH"/>

where @YAW will be 0 in AUTO2 (*)

(*) Except that the YAW command from the RC is taken into account even
in AUTO2 :-)
