I can't understand how this extra trailing slash got in to my post... The correct is: Basically there is no need for the trailing slash after the directory name. Strangely in my original post an extra trailing slash was somehow typed I am pretty sure i only typed one trailing slash but in the post two of those appeared ??? My original post follows:
Problem solved Buzz and Michael. In the .bashrc Instead of:
export PAPARAZZI_HOME=//home/hendrix/paparazzi// export PAPARAZZI_SRC=//home/hendrix/paparazzi//
i used
export PAPARAZZI_HOME=//home/hendrix/paparazzi/
??export PAPARAZZI_SRC=//home/hendrix/paparazzi/ Chris
