Hi Tobi

Vassilis' code is part of the main fork and is very easy to implement as shown in the wiki.

As far as I can hack around in the code it's not actually possible to use a module to add to the control loop code so your previous work could still be added just fine to the fixed wing control loops. If it can't I would love to see the code anyway as it would be a great start

Hi Todd,
unfortunately there is still no way to fly constant IAS without throttle control. there is/was some code to fly constant IAS controlled by throttle you should probably have look right here
should be in the wiki as well
i had the same idea some time ago and wrote my own flight control to deal with some new autopilot modes like IAS controlled by pitch
i did this right before they changed everything to modules but it is working just fine
if someone is really interested to implement this right now i would be glad to help
or just wait a few month until summer then i will probably have some more time and i will try to integrate this stuff into the actual code
still think autonomous soaring is a good feature to implement

A question to the hole community
what about changing the autopilot modes to names that are used in real aircrafts? although they might be a little bit longer it would be much easier for newbies to get into this stuff
and what about some new modes?

hope that helps
