Hi Jacky,

HITL is currently not implemented for IMUs. (And I don't know if it is still up-to-date for IR sensors, I have never used it).
If someone wants to work on this, patches are always welcome!
Personally I don't think that HITL makes that much sense when you need to simulate IMU input....
