The most likely explanation is that timer1 is conditionally used for the adc's and that the selection of servo 6 simply uses
a different timer.  There' s a bunch of #define's in the ADC code, one of which selecting the advanced timer1 and then most likely
associated with ADC3.

If you grep -r "USE_AD_TIM1" in your ./var directory, you may see this popping up in your ap_srcs.list... That'd be one way to explain this weirdness.

I can't believe it but moving the ppm input frpm servo 6 to UART1 Rx caused this problem.
After moving it back to servo 6 everything returned to normal.
Anyone knows what is going on, maybe the stm32 Gpio ard adc converter needs some tweaking.
