i have one flying all the time at 38400 bps
<subsystem name="gps" type="ublox">
<configure name="GPS_BAUD" value="B38400"/>
<configure name="GPS_PORT" value="UART3"/>
</subsystem>
but i used u-center to set the parameters not the module.
Also those gps units i have were bought at least 8 months ago i think.
I will check tomorrow on faulty i have (it does not receive) to see what
version it is.
Can you set the parameters permantly using u-center?

I would like to confirm that the 407 is exactly like the 406.... unfortunately
this doesnt seem to be right. I have one of those little 407 sold by sparcfun
right on my desk and I m not able to save anything permanently in u-center.
