Hi  Joseph ,
The  NVS NV08  is a good receiver. What do you use for a antenna?
The 5cm is the minimum  for  RTKLIB  and  L1 receiver with guard ring  antenna..
But 20cm are also a good value.
The Neo7 has a inside PPP modus. 60cm are possible with fixed antenna.

Regards

Heinrich

Hi Heinrich,

I'm curious about the performance of Neo 6 and Neo 7.

- Have you compared them to an RTK GNSS to validate their accuracy?
- Is the accuracy you mention when static or dynamic?

I am using a NVS NV08 GNSS as a ground GPS with RTKLIB and, without a reference station I do not go below 20 cm accuracy after 30 min of static RAW recording.

Best,
Joseph

Hi Heinrich,

ah, it's for the CSV export, that was not clear from the question...
Would probably be good to add the number of decimal places as an option to the CSV export.

Hi Felix,
we take  photos  with Paparazzi and need the exakt  position of them.
The neo7 has a typical error down to 60 cm. The neo6  about 1.2m .
By taking overlapping photos a 3D model of the earth  surface  can bee generated.
I think to change is a good idea, since the gps error  of modern receivers is reduced  for each new generation.
It was only for the generation of  csv files.
Same reference points are measured with  phase measurements and reach a error of 5 cm after postprocessing .

Hi Heinrich,

but where exactly and for what purpose do you need the 9 decimal places?
Is this something we should change?
