yes, the wiki is not up-to-date with master yet... sorry..
You need to add <load name="nav_cube.xml"/> in your modules section and
then you can take a look at conf/flight_plans/cube.xml
an example.
Martin Müller can probably answer more detailed questions about this nav

nav_cube was written to measure data in a 3-dimensional "cube" of air, mostly turbulences behind a wind turbine. The plane would fly through a defined volume in several lines in parallel and in several layers of these lines. See "4.3 Sample Trajectories" page 85 in [1] for a description.
