  (1) I tried with bootstrap to create configure file. but that also gives
  error like this.

  address@hidden libgnupdf]# ./bootstrap
  : bad interpreter: No such file or directory

What version of m4, autoreconf and automake are you using?

In my computer system installed Red Hat 9.0 and installed packages that need to configure gnupdf.

Installed packages are

(1) autoconf     2.62
(2) libtool         2.2.2
(3) automake   1.10.1
(4) m4             1.4.11
