Anyone can try to pick this task; and *document* all needed steps to get the 
mingw based build of gnupdf in place, so that everyone knows how to set it up. 
I actually did it some years ago and the most problematic part was to also 
compile all dependencies under mingw; apart from that there was no big issue, 
even the unit tests could be run under wine IIRC.
