another bug... :-(
this one caused a restart of the script on a cvs rdiff problem. BTW: there are
some gifs not marked as binary...

PS: the bug is found and fixed already. right now i'm waiting for the last
mails receiving at the list, which is reaaally slow right now. (have a look
at the headers if you like)
