[Phpgroupware-developers] merry christmas and question

Hi everyone

Merry christmas to all, and thanks for that wonderful tool that phpgw is !

Last week, I installed a test server to show how open source technologies
could help our school boards and I used phpgw to show that... 

The goal would be to replace our Novell Groupwise-Lotus Notes-First Class
technologies with phpgw showing that we can put education money elsewhere
than in big buisness pocket's... Potentially, we are a group of 3 school
board, with 250 schools (around 120 000 students plus teachers and other
staff).

Are you aware of any big installs like that, where multiple levels of
security and organisations are involved ?

We're planning to develop a module in phpgw for students and staff to have
access to their samba server (they already have with little php scripts).
Jacques Gélinas (creator of linuxconf) is helping us in those tasks.
