        It is subversions.gnu.org instead of cvs.savannah.org. For instructions
please bookmark the http://savannah.gnu.org/cvs/?group_id=509 that contains
instructions on how to use the CVS tree. 

        I think a simple

find . -name Root -print | xargs perl -pi -e 
's/cvs.phpgroupware.sf.net/subversions.gnu.org/'

        will do the job, but I'd rather suggest a fresh checkout if
you're not familiar with CVS admin files.
