[Phpgroupware-developers] NEW APP FUNCTIONALITY: db table-editor creates tables_current and updates tables_update files for setup(3) automaticaly

To all phpgw developers:

If you dont like (or dont know how) to write the
setup/tables_XYZ.inc.php files for setup(3), this new / enhanced tool is
for you.

You design the table-layout with an interactive editor (within phpgw)
and the editor does not only write a tables_current file, it updates or
creates a tables_update file if you need to change an existing table.

If you have to port an existing app to phpgw or setup(3), just import
the table-definitons from the existing table and let the db-Tools create
the necessary files for you.

The db-Tools are part of the eTemplate app, which I developed to
simplefy the development of applications for phpgw. There is a tutorial
how to use the eTemplates, the db-Tools and some support-classes for a
simple phpgw-app:
