I think the improvements are well worth two weeks.
As a suggestion for the whole contacts-to-LDAP thing, and recognizing that
LDAP has a simpler, non-relational organization, you could do wonders by
creating a "wizard" that helps the admin user select which fields get
copied to LDAP and in what order, in effect creating the LDAP data model.
Choices could include whether or not to duplicate a user if he/she belongs
to >2 OU's, which address fields are included in the LDAP repository, etc.
Helping the admin user create his/her own LDAP structure would also be a
great boon when synchronizing to other simple devices such as PDA's.
This is probably not horribly difficult, but would be worth a third
testicle to most sysadmins. Certainly _I_ would consider it pure gold.
