I have done some work on the manual:

odt-files are converted to (x)html.
Defaults to "overview.odt"
section can be set within applications  with 
$GLOBALS['phpgw_info']['apps']['manual']['section']

Have committed some test-odt-files for property and calendar.

Not quite happy with rendering of tables and inline images.

Please have a look (and improve it)
