Summary: problem with create table under setup

When I run setup and try to create the tables I 
get 'database error' on every singel sql! Don't know 
if this means theres something wrong with the 
phpgroupware db in mysql or with phpgroupware itself?

any ideas? 

By the way, the setup/test.php reports: 'Fatal error: 
Call to undefined function: loaddb() in ..../test.php 
on line 7'. Does anybody know what this is?
