Hi All: Is it possible to add a feature to mass import
all my system users which are in HR to the address
book. My users would like to compose an email and when
they choose addresses, would like to see the company
users. The import should make all users from HR to the
address book public and it would automatically fill in
the email address field with address@hidden It
would also create a category and add these users to
it, maybe a group called system-users?

I noticed the import single user from HR to my address
book doesn't add the email address. Also it makes me
the owner so if I start adding all the users in this
manor, it would not look presentable to the end-users
to see me as the owner. I could of course create a
user called system and do this but still yet it's a
long process with 300+ users. The above solution would
work out very nice. My users are very used to exchange
but when the system crashed and the now terminated
admin realized that the open file option was not
configured, well you can guess what happened to 4
years of mail boxes and address books. I seized the
opportunity to present SuSE eMail Server3.1 and phpgw.
Installation of phpgw on my Redhat 7.3 box was
painless. Except for the feature requests, the users
have no complaints. Thumbs up to you all, this is a
great program ;)
