It's a Apache related feature.
Please, remove (or comments) in httpd.conf:
    # Alias /manual/ "/www/manuals/apache/"

    # <Directory "/www/manuals/apache">
    #    Options Indexes FollowSymlinks MultiViews
    #    AllowOverride None
    #    Order allow,deny
    #    Allow from all
    #</Directory>
