I will get our email developer to look at this one. I am
assuming that you are referring to the default email app,
not felamimail.

Please store the "password" attribute of the mail
client configuration in the preferences serialize as
base64. Of course this offers no security, but I
occasionally have to look at the raw sql attributes,
and don't really want to know what other users' mail
passwords are. For backwards compatibility, the value
could be "b64:cGFzc3dvcmQ=" or something similar. It
prevents seeing the password from a quick glance.
