Category: API - Admin Bug Group: 0.9.14.004/5 release
Severity: 5 - Major Priority: None
Resolution: None Assigned to: None
Status: Open Component Version: None
Platform Version: Linux - Debian Reproducibility: Every Time
Summary: more addslashes() than needed using LDAP
Original Submission: I'm using PHPGW with account stored in LDAP, and i've
found a very little bug.
If i create a user with some ``reserved'' char in it (D'Andrea surname, for
example), they are added escaped (D'Andrea) on the LDAP database.
I can use a LDAP client to correct this behaviour and PHPGW works perfectly (i
can correct back to D'Andrea and all works well), so i think is only a typo and
an addslashes() function is used where not needed.
