=================== BUG #6739: FULL BUG SNAPSHOT ===================
Submitted by: frim Project: phpGroupWare
Submitted on: Tue 11/25/2003 at 07:45
Category: API - Setup Bug Group: 0.9.16RC1
Severity: 5 - Major Priority: High
Resolution: None Assigned to: skwashd
Status: Open Component Version: None
Platform Version: Linux - SuSE Reproducibility: Every Time
Summary: database cannot be migrated from 0.9.14 release
Original Submission: I am running phpGW with MySQL. I tested the 0.9.16 with a
cvs version last week, and was able to reporduce twice the problem: after setup
upgraded the 0.9.14 release database (no error reported), there are at least
two terrible problems:
1) all user preferences are lost (table empty), and changes in the the
preferences are not remembered from now.
2) it is not possible to make entries in the calender. I receive an error
message: *Fatal error*: Unsupported operand types in
> >>*/home/www/cal_test/calendar/inc/class.bocalendar.inc.php* on line *1079
I don't know, what else doesn't work, as these two problems alone make phpGW
quite useless.
NB: None of these problems occur if I run the same code against a newly created
database (start setup with a completely empty database).
