lndir does have it's drawbacks, after it gets cold again i'll probably start 
working
on a script to make it all nice and integrate that with some sort of maintainer,
because not all installs get access to all apps and some will get different 
versions
and be removed from the lndir, others still will have customs apps not in the 
source
tree and so on.

Sounds like your working on a nice phpgw hosting environment, which I intend to
build up eventualy.  Email me off list if your interesting in 
colaberating/joining
forces, i've already got an alpha of a hook to give phpgw the ability to change 
the
password on the mail server...even if it's on a seperate machine.
