I've got Internet access at last (You know I've moved a month ago). The first
thing I did was updating the networking code so that it supports all Gui
protocols up to 14 (that's 2.04beta). after a CVS update I found out that
this has been already done :-). Nevertheless I also made the
Opcode<->Primitive stuff much cleaner (no more ugly array hacks), so my work
was not completely for the trash can :-).
Another question: Does anybody object to removing all dynamically created
files from CVS (the Makefile.* in particular). IMO they only make trouble...

PS: I think we could use some publicity. maybe we should prepare a beta
tarball (I think we are far enough for that!) and drop the mldonkey guys a
note to put us into their news section (like kmldonkey)
