     We get a fair number of requests for "file conversion" type
     utilities.  I wonder if we should add a utility for doing that to

Most of these requests come from people who are setting up on line web
surveys, and want to make the results available as spss files.  Hence,
my idea of a perl module.  How would you feel about a perl module
(essentially perl bindings for dictionary.h and sfm-write.h) but
statically linked to a pspp library?

On the other hand this seems somewhat tangential to the aims of the PSPP 
project....
