     Looks like psppire should add some basic command line support?

It already does.  But for some reason, "psppire --version" is exiting
with status 1 instead of 0 ; I'll look into it.

I haven't been able to run make distcheck for a while, because of the
test failure in tests/expressions/randist.sh
